Sketch

September 16, 2009

Halloween is getting close. Even though I didn’t really have to, I sketched out my version of this costume. I need to go buy some fabric!  I actually don’t know if this will work though.  It will depend on how cold October is.  Although, I guess I will be most likely going to Monster Jam this year, and that always gets hot because it’s so crowded.  So who knows.

Vote for my design!

January 17, 2009

I entered “The Office” t-shirt design contest, and so far I’ve gotten really good feedback about my submission. So I wanted to show it to you guys, and ask if you could rate/vote for my design. On the website, under the design, there are stars. Just rate it 1 to 4. Giving it a 4 would be awesome, but I’m not going to force you to. ;)

And here is the link to go straight to my design: http://tinyurl.com/vote4bobblehead. Thanks!

If you want, I wouldn’t be against you spreading the link around, lol.

Teenage Meme!

April 30, 2008

I saw it on Corey Marie’s journal, but it was started by Davario.

Originally, I was going to work on reupholstering the chair, but then I saw this meme and knew that I had to do it. It was funny thinking back to how I was at these ages, and I kinda lied a little. I tried to go for a GENERAL idea of how I was then. Example: I really stopped the scarf thing about 1998, but only because it didn’t work. And I mostly wear chucks now, but wanted to draw myself in my “grown up” shoes that I do wear a lot.

I had a lot of fun drawing this. I haven’t drawn in a long, long time.

* I wanted to be known for something other than my hair, so I had a purple scarf tied to my backpack that had hand painted flowers on the bottom. It didn’t work.

Sketch Day!

January 17, 2008

Another sketch day is upon us. I was working on making these sketches a reality when John suggested I make them smaller. I thought he was right, so I stopped working. Luckily I had only cut out the stencils, so it’s not like I lost that much time. Anyway, now the sketch!

Haha more, girls! But they’re facing the front this time. What a concept! This is just a tease. I don’t want to spoil what the dolls will look like!

PS: I am wearing the pink earrings from Kristi today!

Sketch Day!

January 4, 2008

I worked kinda late last night, and then John and I went to the grocery store, so I didn’t really have time for crafting. But I did sketch! I digitally colored the sketches in so they didn’t blend in so much with the background… I sketch in a sketch book with plain white pages, lol.

1. There are more of these, but they’re a secret. I hope to have them ready for Valentine’s Day – so cute!!! I don’t know what they will be though… Key chains? Plushies? Pillows? Cell phone decorations? Who knows!

2. This is the sketch that ended up being Take One & Two.

Just a quick blog for today, I have to get back to work! When I get home I hope to finish one of the curtains for the living room. Those things are taking FOREVER! I need (NEED) to find white fabric with dark green polka dots on them, but I don’t know where to look. I’ve never bought fabric online before. (Well, except for ebay.) How do you know who is reliable?! I’d need about 6 yards of it. :( Curtains are such a pain, but I want to do the polka dot part right. (Which means proper blackout lining.) The part I’m working on now is just the front part of my plan. Oh why must I make things so complicated? Hahaha probably because John like things super simple. I must rebel! I will not have a plain house!

This still counts as a short blog, right? ;)
